While spending his youth keeping water in swimming pools, and out of sailboats, Keith completed a degree in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from UofT. After several years of service, repair and technical sales in the municipal pool business, Keith founded NCAquatics in 1998. The goal then, as now, has been to provide reliable, safe systems for the construction, renovation and operation of public pool facilities. Our focus is on delivering excellent solutions, with the best life-cycle or full-life costs, that are easy to live with for facility operators, management and that please the swimmers of Canada. That these systems are also the most energy efficient solutions has been of increasing importance in recent years.
Keith has been involved in over 500 public pool construction and renovation projects across North America, and has built a team that can help you achieve your goals effectively, safely and reliably.
|Adrian Spencer, Atlantic Technical Sales, based in Wentworth NS.
Adrian is certified as a Mechanical Engineering Technologist, and has a great eye for mechanical system trouble shooting and problem solving. Growing up as part of a family business, Adrian has a strong background in customer service.
Adrian has worked in Municipal Aquatics Facilities Management. He is also very involved with the Lifesaving Society with outreach programs and the development of Lifesaving Sport in Canada, and he manages and coaches The Guardians Lifesaving Club. Adrian is available as a resource for all of our partners across Canada, and can help your team with design and operational issues related to guarding and aquatics programming.
|Scott Bowron, Central Technical Sales, based in London ON.
With over 30 years’ experience in facility operations and maintenance in the public sector, Scott is available as a resource for all of our partners across Canada, and can help your team with operations issues, training and equipment standardization.
Scott is an active instructor with NSPF, as a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Instructor, and with Ontario Parks Association (OPA), as a Spray Pad Course Instructor. He was a member of the facility design and construction committee for the Model Aquatic Health Code (MAHC), and continues with the Council for the Model Aquatic Health Code. Scott is also on the review committee for the new Ontario Health Regulations for Pools and Spas and speaks on current trends at various conferences nationally and internationally.
|Ryan Jones, Western Technical Sales, based in Calgary AB.
With over 20 years’ experience in planning, development, operations and maintenance for aquatics facilities in 6 countries around North, Central and South America, Ryan has also manufactured waterslides and children’s features for water parks, hotels and aquatic facilities in 6 countries. Since joining NCAquatics in 2012, Ryan has helped clients, design teams and contractors through the concept, design and construction phases of several major projects in Western Canada, all featuring beautiful Myrtha Pools.
|Don Richardson, Technical Director, based in Burlington ON.
Don joined NCAquatics in 2011 as Technical Director. Don is a Professional Engineer, graduating from Civil Engineering at University of Waterloo. Don has developed a broad base of business experience as a business owner, senior executive and a variety of management and technical positions in aerospace and plastics manufacturing, logistics, and software, prior to joining NCAquatics.
Don is responsible for delivering our excellent aquatic solutions to our clients, on time, and on budget, and provides operational support to staff and partners.
|Jarrod Browne, Technical Support, based in Carlisle ON.
Jarrod has a very strong technical background, having completed an apprenticeship in Tool and Die, and holding a Certificate of Qualification as a Licensed Injection Mould Maker. From a background in setting up and supporting manufacturing systems, Jarrod joined NCAquatics in 2011. Jarrod has been involved in the design, planning, construction, quality control, repair and inspection of over 100 Myrtha Pool projects across Canada. Jarrod is available as a resource for all of our partners across Canada from the new construction and major renovation of facilities, to troubleshooting and problem solving on existing pools and related pool systems.
Jarrod is the technical authority in North America for movable bulkheads, movable pool floors and other integrated systems related to our increasingly complex pool systems, and has provided innovative improvements not only to our customers and contractors, but also to the manufacturers whose products we use.
